The Guam Pharmacists Association (GPhA) is a licensed, non-profit organization dedicated to serving pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other associate members on the island. To date, we have over 150 members throughout the islands and over 20 pharmacies serving the citizens of our islands. During this pandemic, our pharmacists and technicians have been working tirelessly as we keep our pharmacies open and ready to serve our patients.

The new officers and board members for our association have been elected for 2020-2022. To better serve our community, the newly elected officers plan to have a series of Continuing Education (CE) events to provide necessary education and updates to our members as our practice evolves. The purpose of CE events is for our members to discuss and learn about topics regarding mandated compliance requirements in the Federal and local pharmacy law as well as updates in therapy for several disease states.

In addition, due to the ongoing pandemic, health care has evolved tremendously. We plan to invite various healthcare professionals to our health care forums to provide updates for our island pharmacists in Immunization, COVID-19 Management, Cancer Care, Diabetes Management, Infectious Disease Management, Wound Care, Women's Health, and more. Our Association desires the ability to conduct Community Health Fairs, Immunization Clinics, Disease State Education Classes, and Medication Therapy Management for our patients and most especially the elderly and the underserved.
